1st Annual Guns & Hoses Softball Tournament

 A New Tradition Begins!

The Guns & Hoses Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament is launching its 1st annual event, bringing together first responders, military personnel, and the community for a thrilling weekend of softball, camaraderie, and charity. 

This exciting tournament will feature teams from law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and military branches, all competing for bragging rights and a great cause.

Hosted in Chattanooga, Tennessee, this event builds upon the success of the Guns & Hoses Charity Boxing Event, which has raised over $1 million for local charities over the past 15 years. Now, with the addition of the Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament, we’re expanding our mission to support first responders and at-risk youth in a whole new way.

📍 Location: Camp Jordan Softball Complex, East Ridge, TN

• 40 teams of first responders and military personnel 
• Double-elimination format
• Exciting on-field match-ups between Chattanooga’s finest and bravest

Teams will battle it out over the weekend at Camp Jordan’s state-of-the-art softball fields. Expect intense competition, family-friendly entertainment, vendors, and community engagement as players give it their all to make it to the Championship Round.

After the weekend tournament, the final four teams will advance to AT&T Field, home of the Chattanooga Lookouts, for the Championship Playoff Round.

• Two teams from the winner’s bracket and two teams from the loser’s bracket will compete in a final showdown.
• Fans will enjoy an action-packed day of high-stakes softball, special recognition, and family-friendly fun.
• Expect honorary first pitches, guest appearances, and exciting entertainment throughout the day.

This final event at Lookouts Stadium will be an unforgettable experience, celebrating the spirit of service, sacrifice, and sportsmanship.

The 1st Annual Guns & Hoses Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament isn’t just about competition—it’s about giving back. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit:

For decades, the Forgotten Child Fund has provided Christmas gifts, clothing, and holiday meals to children in need. Led by local first responders, this initiative ensures that every child has a reason to smile during the holiday season.

The YMCA Community Action Program (YCAP) is a life-changing initiative offering mentorship, academic support, and structured activities to at-risk youth. By guiding young people toward success, YCAP prevents delinquency, builds confidence, and fosters a brighter future for Chattanooga’s youth.

Through team registrations, sponsorships, and community support, this tournament aims to raise $60,000, to be split evenly between these two impactful charities.
